After those quite short, maybe a dozen or so hours spent with the grinder, you can quite generally define some of its features, which I tried to present above in two versions.
It is not a perfect device, but probably no one expected one at a price below the cost level of mills with even much smaller burrs. In my opinion, the device has the potential and as a single dose grinder with the right approach and maybe with some small disc type modification similar to that of the Niche Zero, you can have a really interesting home grinder at a good price.
It is possible that the alignment of the burrs can be calibrated better by applying a foil, similar to, for example, EK43 and obtaining a more uniform grinding. It should be emphasized here that the legendary devices such as the aforementioned ike are also not without flaws, and cost much more.
Goran noted that the grinder gets warm rather quickly in the lower part where the motor is located. It seems to me to be due to the small dimensions of the grinder and the well-conductive heat-conducting material of the housing. However, in domestic use with single doses this should not have any effect on the operation of the grinder.
Unfortunately, there was no cup included in the set in the test sample, so I couldn't test its usability. I often grind into a steel cup myself.
The silicone caps on the portafilter fork are, in my opinion, quite an underdeveloped element.
I discussed all my comments with Janusz and Grzegorz, who are to try to improve the grinder.
+ burrs with a diameter of 64 mm,
+ simple operation,
+ easy access to the grinding chamber and burrs,
+ small retention,
+ large grinding range,
+ a container that fits into a 58 mm sieve, included
+ distribution and service in Poland,
+ color options and kind of burrs.
+ low price compared to competing single dose devices.
- A fairly imprecise scale for espresso and close to the contact point of the
burrs for a dose of 15 g. - Significant changes in the grinding thickness and espresso extraction with a charge greater than one dose.
- Tendency to scatter coffee when using a accordion blower.
- Grind slightly uneven.
- Clear "popcorning".
So the espresso grinder is barely on the scale and is not very precise?
Can you develop it? The adjustment is stepwise, or there are simply too large distances on the scale itself, and there is a problem with precise reading.
No, the regulation is smooth. I mean the markings on the scale, they are quite distant (you can see it in the video with the burr contact or here
https://photos.app.goo.gl/4pGnczwv8zgZFf3g6 ), made with quite thick lines. The lines could easily be drawn two or even three times more densely. Then it would be more precise. It is similar, for example, in ek43, where users often change the dial with a scale, to one with denser markings.

Esto último me hace gracia ¿quién usaría un molino SD para moler más de una dosis?
Con respecto a aumentar el número de divisiones de la escala, en el foro holandés ya hay unas cuantas soluciones
